Today I discovered possibly my favorite lifting challenge video ever, The Germanic Challenge. I decided that I was gonna try it, but instead of a quart of whole milk I would use a half-gallon of chocolate milk. I messed around with some one-arm snatches as my warm-up, and I got 115 pretty easily, but the jump from that to 135 didn't work. I'll definitely get it on monday though, with a video of the milk with it to follow.
12" Log- I was trying to do some higher rep stuff as well as work on some viper stuff, worked up to 170x3 viper, and 180x3x5 split jerk. The log is so big and awkward that it just drains the energy out of me. It's definitely one of my favorite events though.
CG Bench- 165x2x8. The start to a decent bench press has begun.
Chin-ups- 30 reps total, I tried doing 6 sets of five, but I got through 4 sets, then started doing them one or two at a time.
Cuban Press -Superset- DB Flies- 45 lb. bar to 30 lb. dumbbells. 3 sets, and my chest is gonna be sore tomorrow.
Decent Training today, Some stones and assistance stuff tomorrow.
