So yesterday I benched with Ty and his crew. I was feeling alright, not bad, but not good. But my chest is pretty sore for the first time in a while. We warmed up with 135x10, 135x5, 185x5, but then we jumped up to 225, and i couldn't do that. So i dropped down to 205 to do my next three sets of doubles, which was still pretty tough. I'm still trying to work on my form, i guess i need to keep my elbows in. Maybe I'll get one of them to tape me so i can see what I'm doing wrong. I think i do that because my triceps are weaker than they should be, so maybe i'll do some additional work. But after that we did speed triples with 135 and the red mini's, which was still kind of tough for me. We then moved on to some triceps, then three sets of doubles on DB incline press. I was planning to start off with 80's, but i couldnt get them up at all. So after two sets of using the 70's I decided to try the 80's once more, and I got them up once, and i was pretty happy.
Other than that, my ankle has prevented me from doing any lower body stuff, so i havent seen sean in a while. But the swelling has gone done quite a bit overnight, so there is hope that i could lift with them on thursday.
Yesterday i also trained my first client, I was pretty nervous. It was a girl, and unfortunately i can't remember her name. It wasn't very hard, but it was fun and i could definitely see myself doing that kind of stuff for the rest of my life. I also got to keep the money from it too, 15 dollars for a half hour was pretty good. It came as a surprise too.
